IFF’s Master Perfumer Carlos Benaim Receives Fragrance Foundation Perfumer of the Year Lifetime Achievement Award

New York, June 20, 2014 – International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (NYSE: IFF), a leading global creator of flavors and fragrances for consumer products, announced that Master Perfumer Carlos Benaim has received the Fragrance Foundation Perfumer of the Year Lifetime Achievement Award. The Fragrance Foundation Awards celebrate the global fragrance industry and its outstanding creative achievements in the world of perfumery. The Awards ceremony was held at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, New York City on June 16, 2014.

Carlos is the chairperson of the IFF Global Creative Council. He received the prestigious American Society of Perfumers Lifetime Achievement Award in 2004 and his individual and collaborative creations have received many industry awards including nine FiFi’s from the Fragrance Foundation in the United States and several more in other countries.
