IFF Elects Andreas Fibig & Dale F. Morrison to Board of Directors

International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (NYSE: IFF), a leading global creator of flavors and fragrances for consumer products, announced that Andreas Fibig, Chairman of the Board of Management of Bayer Schering Pharma AG, and Dale F. Morrison, President and Chief Executive Officer of McCain Foods Limited, have been elected to the Company's Board of Directors, effective immediately.
With these additions, IFF's Board of Directors now consists of 12 independent members as well as Doug Tough, IFF's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, for a total of 13 Directors.

Mr. Fibig, based in Berlin, has been Chairman of the Board of Management of Bayer Schering Pharma AG, the pharmaceutical division of Bayer AG, since September 2008. Prior to this position, Mr. Fibig held a number of global positions within the healthcare industry including Pfizer, Pharmacia GmbH and Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Mr. Fibig is a Board member of EFPIA, the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations, and chairs the Board of Trustees of the Max Planck Institute for Infection Biology.
Mr. Morrison has served since 2004 as the President and Chief Executive Officer of McCain Foods Limited, an international leader in the frozen food industry based in Toronto. A food industry veteran, his experience includes service as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Campbell Soup Company, as well as various roles at General Foods and PepsiCo. Complementing these credentials, Mr. Morrison also served as an Operating Partner at the private equity firm Fenway Partners. Mr. Morrison is also a Director of the Center of Innovation at the University of North Dakota.
