IFF Appoints Anne Chwat Senior Vice President, General Counsel &
NEW YORK, Mar 08, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) --
International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (NYSE: IFF), a leading global creator of flavors and fragrances for consumer products, announced that Anne Chwat has been appointed Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, effective April 14, 2011. In this role, Ms. Chwat will serve as the Company's legal officer overseeing all aspects of global legal and regulatory affairs.

Ms. Chwat was most recently Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Burger King Corporation, where she was responsible for leading the Company's worldwide legal, ethics and compliance activities since 2004. Prior to joining Burger King, Ms. Chwat was General Counsel, Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer of BMG Music, the music division of media company Bertelsmann AG. Earlier in her career, Ms. Chwat served as Associate Corporate Counsel for Joseph E. Seagram and Sons, Inc. and held a variety of other positions including a private practice for seven years with Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton of New York City.
Ms. Chwat holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from New York University and a Juris Doctorate from New York University School of Law.
