New York, New York (February 12, 2004) – International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (NYSE: IFF) (“IFF” or “the Company”) announces that Neil Humphreys, Vice President, Global Business Development, Flavors and Functional Fragrances, will retire March 31, 2004. Mr. Humphreys has been with IFF for six years, first as Regional Vice President, Flavors -- Asia Pacific and later as Vice President, Global Business Development, Flavors, prior to assuming his current role. Mr. Humphreys has worked in the flavor and fragrance industry for over 30 years and has brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to IFF.
Effective with Mr. Humphreys' retirement, Jim Dunsdon, Vice President, Global Account Sales and Regional Manager, North America, will be appointed to the new position of Senior Vice President, Global Business Development, Flavors and Functional Fragrances. In this role, Mr. Dunsdon will take on as additional responsibilities creative & application, marketing, and consumer insight for both flavors and functional fragrances.
To assist Jim in his regional management role, Kip Gibson was appointed Deputy Regional Manager for North America, effective January 1, 2004.
