International Flavors & Fragrances Announces Appointment of Judith Gross as Global Director, Fragrance Innovation and Matt Frost as Global Marketing Director, Fine Fragrance and Beauty Care
New York, March 17, 2008 - International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (NYSE: IFF), a leading creator of flavors and fragrances used in a wide variety of consumer products, today announced the appointment of Judith Gross to the position of Global Director, Fragrance Innovation. Innovation is becoming increasingly important in the marketplace and is one of the three elements of IFF's Mission —Customers, People and Innovation. In this new role, Gross will be responsible for creating new and unique growth opportunities for IFF and its customers. She will be responsible for a fully-dedicated Innovation team whom will be researching new alliances and partnerships, generating new business opportunities and growth avenues for IFF. Gross has been with IFF for 15 years, most recently in the role of Global Marketing Director, Fine Fragrance and Beauty Care. She is based in Neuilly , France .

IFF also announced today that Matt Frost joined the Company as Global Marketing Director, Fine Fragrance and Beauty Care, to replace Gross in her former role. Frost is responsible for managing the fine fragrance and beauty care marketing teams across the globe and will be charged with delivering a clearly differentiated marketing strategy to IFF's clients. Frost has significant experience in the fragrance industry. He spent more than 11 years with Quest International and Givaudan in various fragrance marketing roles in the U.K. France, Japan and the U.S.A. Most recently, Frost was Vice President Global Fine Fragrance Marketing and Market Research for Givaudan. Frost is based in New York City .
