IFF Celebrates FiFi Award Win for Fragrance of the Year (Men’s Luxe)
Sean John’s “I AM KING” Takes Top Honor
NEW YORK—May 29, 2009—International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (NYSE: IFF) congratulates IFF perfumers Laurent Le Guernec, Loc Dong, Carlos Benaim and Jean Marc Chaillan on the FiFi Award win for Fragrance of the Year (Men’s Luxe) for Sean John’s “I AM KING.”
“‘I AM KING’ opens up untapped olfactive men's territories following the extraordinary vision of Sean John and Estee Lauder Companies,” said Christophe de Villeplee, IFF vice president fine fragrance and beauty care worldwide. “The development of the scent was an amazing partnership between Sean John, the Estee Lauder Companies and the creative talent of the perfumers: Laurent Le Guernec, Loc Dong, Jean Marc Chaillan, Carlos Benaim.”
Sean Combs accepted the award on behalf of Sean John Fragrances, thanking IFF for its collaboration on the fragrance and then joined Nicolas Mirzayantz, IFF Group President Fragrances, in the IFF lounge after the win.

Held this year at the Downtown Armory on May 27, 2009, the FiFi Awards are produced by The Fragrance Foundation and brings together over 1,000 members of the international fragrance community. Awards are presented by celebrities from the world of fashion, theater, film and television.
